DementiaMatters is specifically designed to empower the Caregiver with awareness, knowledge, skills, techniques and strategies to understand and/or care for someone living with dementia. Whether caring for a loved one, caring as a professional, or simply interested in learning more about dementia, DementiaMatters is the community resource and support company. We provide the needed educational training to help all levels of caregivers better understand what it is like to live with dementia. Having this understanding will help caregivers to provide better, more compassionate care. While there are many online training programs, DementiaMatters is unique in that it brings a hands on training program, along with a virtual dementia tour which replicates what a person with Dementia feels, hears, senses, and deals with everyday.
